Note 2 Users stay away.... and maybe others...

I am a galaxy note 2 with a decent size indention on my device not from this production; well get to that in a min. First off after about five to ten mins of driving I realize my phone isn't charging anymore so I had to push it all the way back into the lighter charger. Second every turn or bump I made or hit readjusted the arm so I was having to constantly move it back where I want it. (when I'm on the free way no problem) When putting my Galaxy Note 2 in the product I found it more work than it should. The pressure that is placed on the phone ulimately lead to a half inch "cave in" like mark. The protective foam isn't really protecting if it can't with stand the pressure from the product.---- I really think this is a bad product all around and even worse product for the galaxy note 2 due to its size and heaviness. Galaxy Note 2 users you've been warned and other phone users.....use at your own risk....

REVISED: Replacement unit works but wobbles a lot

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
The outlet plug is simply too loose-fitting to support any sort of device, or even the empty holder. They used small rubber nubs to try to make the plug fit snugly into the outlet, but it fails miserably. Unless your vehicle has some ancillary neighboring support, this device is completely useless. NOT recommended.
REVISED REVIEW:
I have to give the seller credit. They insisted that I give them another chance and that I accept a replacement item. I actually tried to talk them out of it, but in the end gave in and let them ship it. The replacement one is made the same as the first one, but fits much more snugly in the power outlet. This one IS sturdy enough to support my phone, though it does wobble around a bit. That said, even on a bumpy road it stayed pushed into the socket all the way and did not wiggle its way out. So this replacement unit is usable after all. Because of that and the fact the seller was so gracious about the replacement, I have boosted my review from 1 to 3 stars. My suspicion is that car power outlets probably vary in inner diameter slightly. But the reality is that the replacement fits more snugly than the first one in the same car, and that says something about the product's manufacturing consistency. Nonetheless, a sturdy product and great if it fits your car properly.

Solid, fits well

The plug fits snug into the charger and the whole unit is stable, with no rattling.
I am using an iPhone with a bumper. IT hold the phone well. The holding mechanism is designed well. One of the sides opens on a spring and then holds tight with soft rubber fasteners.
