Buyer Beware: NOT OEM.... and I tested it.

Having taught electronics I wasn't about to get ripped off and I decided after receiving the charger (which by the way didn't have Verizon marked ANYwhere on the unit)to do some testing. So, having an actual OEM Verizon car charger, I found it to charge at 1200-1900ma using my Samsung S4. The charger sold here will only charge at 850ma....and when it comes to charging times that's substantial. The comparable Verizon charger was a stock, non-fast charge charger.

I really do not think this is a Verizon OEM charger.See the photo I attached to the sale.

Also: I've had to return it, produce my own box (requested yet it was shipped to me in an envelope), and pay for the return shipping myself.

I'd love to hear the sellers comment/reply on this.

Advertised as new but looked used

Perhaps it is just a case of poor quality control at the factory? However, the charger was advertised as new, but did not arrive in factory packing and had the appearance of being previously used. In any event, it did NOT work.
