    1998 Toyota Camry
    By Bargain Hunter
We have a 1998 Toyota Camry LE 4 door sedan. Needed a new stereo, replacing a factory installed radio/cd player, and we wanted one with usb drive. Researched a lot and the Crutchfield website was very helpful. We decided on this one. It fit in the space of the old one perfectly w/o installation kit but we did purchase the Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness and we did use it. I wanted to keep the little storage space under the stereo and we were able to do that. This is considered a single-din stereo. My husband installed this on his own with virtually no experience in car stereo installation and it took about an hour. No problems with the physical installation but issues arose later (see warning). As an aside, we also purchased Kingston Digital 8GB DataTraveler Micro USB 2.0 to use with our new system and it works. I like how it changes colors and the brightness of the lights is not a problem. We played a CD and we used the USB flash drive and they work great. We are still figuring out how to work everything else.
The remote does not turn the stereo on but it does turn it off. Can't think of anything else right now but if any issues arise I will try and update this review.

Warning (our experience): When installing the above wiring harness do not connect blue wire and do not connect orange wire with black strip to orange wire with white strip as this will cause you to lose panel lights and dome light. We had to spend some time figuring this out and blew a couple fuses along the way. Everything seems to be in correct working order now.

    Advice: READ THE MANUAL.

    Swapping out another Kenwood
    By J. Morgan
Got this to replace a Kenwood in my 10 year-old RV. Easy swap using existing wiring harness and antenna. I easily installed a SirusXM tuner and now have my 60's tunes anywhere we roam. Love this stereo!

    Very Satisfied
    By James Hendricks
I needed a dependable and not expensive replacement for the poor 17yo truck that I use every day. The outputs really surprised me! The features and variation in the settings were a breeze to go through. I am extraordinarily pleased with the purchase.
