Let down

It doesn't charge an iPad and an iPhone at the same time! That is why I bought this port with 4 USB. It says it can only charge the iPad by itself with nothing else plug into it. I think that defeats the purpose? Don't get me wrong it will charge your iPad and your iPhone. Just not at the same time. However it does charge two iPhones at the same time.

died after first 30 minutes

I plugged in my ipad and my phone into the wall charger. Within the first 30 minutes I heard my ipad beeping from across the room. The ipad screen showed that it would charge for 10 seconds and then stop charging for 10 seconds causing a notification beep. This intermittent charging then not charging went on for another 10-15 minutes. I touched the side of the wall charger and I was very warm. I unplugged the ipad and phone immediately. I let the charger cool off for half a day and then tried to plug the phone into it and the charger was dead. Obviously, I missed the disclosure that you can't charge an Ipad and phone at the same time...but why else would you buy this thing?

fell apart

This lasted about 2 weeks, when I tried to unplug it, It came apart and I got shocked, 110v. The usb plugs worked fine.
