Functional
By J. Parsons
It does what is says it should do. That being said, I really don't like the idea that 8 of my 20 I/O ports are being used simply to run a keypad. I created a resistor array to pair up to the keypad and convert the key presses into a single channel varied resistance response. Now I can use the keypad using only 1 analog channel instead of 8 I/O. It took some time to figure out what resistor values would give me enough space between response values but in the end and about $0.50 worth of resistors I am much happier with this keypad.

Works great
By Steven Richard Gatto
Works great with my arduino uno. The keypad.h library works great with it and there's a ton of sample code out there to get it working quick. Unfortunately it does take up 8 digital pins.

Great Keypad
By Nicholas Black
This is a great little keypad for the money. Excellent for experimentation. Here is a link to a pin out drawing I did for this unit (since there isn't one referenced in the description). I hope that helps!
