Very Pleased !!! Tool for a happier marriage.

Originally, I hung a tennis ball from a garage ceiling rope and positioned it exactly where my wife should stop the car upon contact with her windshield. She continued driving through the ball, bumping my lawn mower. I mentioned my frustration to my neighbor and he gifted me the Emerson flashing parking signal. I was sceptical at first, but it really works great, and my wife stops the car without plowing through the signal and hitting my mower. I've read the other reviews about some people saying the signal tips over. I'm a computer nerd and love to read assembly instructions. The base of the emerson signal has four swing-out stability feet that create an 'X' footprint. I can only imagine that people having stability issues are not making use of the four swing-out stability feet. The boxed instructions show a drawing of what the base should look like after assembly. Assembly is a snap. I had it out of the box and working in 15 minutes.
My wife rolled her eyes upon seeing the parking signal for the first time, but she hasn't bumped my lawn mower since. I think she secretly likes it. I know that my mower is happy !!!

Not quite what they seem.

These items are not quite what they seem. The idea is good, but there is a major design flaw; the base is too light and when the bumper of your car touches them, they bow backward with the springing action, then fall over. I try to approach them very, very slow, but they still fall over much of the time. I bought two, one of them doesn't flash. I'm not impressed, wouldn't recommend them.

Functions As Advertized.....HOWEVER.....

As some of the other Reviewers here have already stated, these were purchased for my Wonderful Fantastic Wife so that she can more properly park either of our two vehicles within the garage.

Minor Con:
1) Added 4 small "Cube-shaped" brick pavers as weights upon the plastic "X" Base for MUCH better long term floor location stability.
2) Flasher lights seem to be ultra-sensitive; certain sound waves generated within the garage will trigger both of them flashing such as loud talking, and noises while using a hammer, power-drilling, power-grinding, power-sawing, the shop-vac, and when accidently "slamming" shut the garage's side-entry door.

Pro:
1) They FUNCTION VERY WELL for their basic intended purpose.
2) Relatively low priced.
3) The included coin cell-type batteries seem to be lasting a long time so far.
