Works great at first, but doesn't last

You will be satisfied with this purchase if you go in knowing:

1. Works best if it is on a flat surface (can be vertical, but not curved). If you are using in your car, make sure that you have a large enough, flat area where you want to use it on your dashboard or console

2. Dust is not your friend. If you leave this pad in your car for a long period of time, it will eventually get dusty and the dust prevents it from doing its job correctly. I kept the plastic sheet that it came shipped in to protect it for a while, which helped

I think you will run into these issues with all types of sticky pads, so for the price THIS IS THE ONE TO CHOOSE.

Not very good

So this thing did not work, and it smelled horrible. It did not stick to anything but the packaging and I had to throw it away, as I am not paying to return something that cost me less than $2.

Simple and IT WORKS

When I am driving, I often have a phone (or two) and sometimes a mobile hotspot. The latter in particular needs to be near a window (the windshield) to get the best reception. Put it up there and it slides all over the place. With this product, it stays put. Period. No mess, no fuss. This thing just works. I promise you will find it useful for all kinds of things you need to stay put in the car.
